Battery died -- nothing...key FOB wouldn't work haven't tried to get in yet--just popped the hood and attached the tender and charger I have. After the warm up testing period for the charger it was flashing red...meaning the battery can not be charged. So my question is does the alarm being turned on when the battery died have any mechanical devices that would stop the car from being charged? Do I need to simply reset something or is this just a stupid question and I need to get a better/new charger. Although it works on other batteries. And also..the battery is less than 2 years old...I guess I should have left the tender on it...but being that new figured I was good...now it's good for nothing!!!
Thanks for the help

Sounds like your battery got sulphated really bad... Best to just pull it out and replace - a tender probably won't cause you problems, but I've seen people try to get aggressive with stubborn batteries and have them explode all over the interior of their battery enclosure. Definitely easier to just replace the battery :)
