We have seen these from time to time..... Vipers just dont fit the boilerplate promotions that 3rd parties sell.

Wow, Nineball, I had no idea the 2006 Viper had dropped that much... If we traded Vipers you would be way ahead!

I am going to take my Viper to the dealer and give them some friendly crap. It's just up the street.

Funny you should say that Blue... I actually did that one time only it was an accident!

A long time ago I went into a Dodge dealership at the end of the year. I always buy between Christmas and new years to get a good deal because they are desperate to move inventory. They had a dark green Intrepid that caught my eye. So I ended up talking this guy way down and he also threw in a trip to the Bahamas for 2. I told him my trade in was at the house but it was in fine shape. So we did all the paperwork that night and the next night I was to bring in my car.
Unfortunately halfway there the radiator blew. I literally brought that thing in on a hook in front of everybody watching. :)
That guy looked at me like he got played "big time". I just smiled at him and said "I'm as shocked as you are"! I couldn't get out of there fast enough! That was in 1995 and I haven't been back since.

Go to the dealership, go through all the paperwork to sell back your car and then at the last second change your mind and leave.

Yep, I got several of them from various dealers in the area. At least the offered me 32k. I called once and asked why they were offering such a low ball number and the guy said that they were just computer generated letters. I wonder how much they waste in postage sending out those.
