Sorry if this is a repost but just read that the Viper will end production in 2017 according to details contained in Fiat Chrysler's new contract which was approved by 77% of the members of UAW.

The funny part is......

The Viper Truck has been gone for 10 years. I still have people contacting me to get information on their newly acquired Ride. The excitement is still there. With that said, I have the same thing happen with Vipers, just not to the same degree. The one thing they all have in common is the pure joy of owning a ridiculous vehicle. These new owners really don't care how old it is, however, they all are looking for info from maintenance to mods to concerns on their Ride that others have experience with. Even with as few Viper Trucks that were built (and no real club to speak of) they still get together and enjoy the day. Even if there is an eventual end to the production...... for ever..... I don't see any difference in the joy people will get from Vipers regardless of the age of the Viper. Again, I'm an optimist and know the vast majority of people who drive Vipers aren't suddenly going to hate them because there isn't a 2018 model.

Dead.... never
demise..... never
forgotten.... never

but that's just my opinion

There is a lot of talk about one site being better or worse and the obvious is missing in all the conversations. Facebook has caused more death of forums than anything else. Self moderated by page owner, no accountability for comments, vendors don't pay fees,ect... ect... ect..............

There is no doubt that the majority of conversations these days is through social media

The sad part of that, knowledge is lost forever in the depths of billions a useless commentary

We invite people to enjoy the love of the Viper, have fun, crack some jokes and just be human for awhile. There's serious conversation too. This place is for the Members, by the Members and the Members are and always have been the reason why we are here (Ok, that's how I feel).

We share a love and in that love we have built friendships

Have a Great day and post up
Jeff
