Here is how it works...Imagine you have a table, and you have some stuck on rice on the surface of the table, all the clar bar does is take the stuck on rice off the surface. You can imagine if you took a *** of Playdough in your hand and rolled it on the table, it would pick up the rice. The claybar does exactly that. It takes the stuff that is stuck on off. If you soak the stuck on rice with water (the solution), it comes off easier. The detailing solution also helps lubricate the surface so you don't create scratches.
Works wonders on dark cars.
