I noted that too, but probably because the Vipers were also with a DODGE product...hence, not totally Vipers were being shown. ~juli

Yes the section is for all Dodge vehicles. It would be much better if it was the Viper Snake.

Gotta say, you just joined and your first posts were TREMENDOUS ones with pics of the Vipers at the Detroit Auto Show, THANK YOU!!!! Well, I imagine they just put all their Dodge products together...not separate the Vipers out....which would've been nice, but maybe space constraints? Anyway--we thank you kindly for the great pics!! Glad you got to attend, and welcome aboard!~~~juli

Juli, Thanks for the note... I use to belong back in the good-ole days when I had a 2004 Viper. I couldn't find/remember my ID so thought I would rejoin to share the pictures and to start thinking about a 2008 Viper purchase.

Great pictures. Saved me from trying to take any (plus that I forgot my camera when I went earlier).

For those that are going to the show there are 2 ACR's in the show. The one pictured at the Dodge display (straight back from the center entrance) and one at the Michelin display (just inside the doors near the furthest east entrance). I would expect traffic to be more limited at the Michelin display for those wanting clear pictures. They also have the ACR wheels and Pilot Sport Cups on display. They would not cut me a deal on pricing though

At least they have the Vipers out of the shadows this year. Dodge is still doing a terrible job of promoting the car in the media -- the ZR1 was voted "people's choice" because GM saturated the media with everything possible about the car -- most people didn't even know about the Viper, they were blown away when they saw it! Hopefully the new ownership is slowly getting it . . . it can't be a halo car if it is in the closet!

because their marketing dept *****. i saw it first hand at the detroit auto show. chevy did a FANTASTIC job with the corvette.

did you see the thread about making friends with a talented guy at a bodyshop who does work on the side? well, i did that. unfortunately talented guys who do work on the side, can be very SLOW.

i have been spending a few hours a week sanding, prepping, and getting things done here and there. i almost have the hood done, header bolts go on this week, and i should be drilling, tapping, threading, and installing all the line clamps too.

but, in other words, things probably hasnt changed much since the last time we talked.

i did talk to him the other day though, and i am starting to give him gentle but firm little pushes.
