I haven't heard of a patch not being able to hold up. At the very least it should suffice for your "crap dusting" needs. They're usually over with just as you hit third.

Believe it or not.. I couldnt have been doing more than 50 mph when I crashed. I lost it on a 1-2 shift..

Just be careful.. respect the car, mother nature and know your own limitations..

In the meantime I have until spring to figure out what I want to do..

on the tire issue I would get a new one!!! not worth the headache of it leaking. or worst a blowout!!

i too am not a rich guy but, like when i spent the money on 5pts
better here and alittle on the credit card than not here over a few hundred!!!

If you are like me you will have more. I have had 4(!) flats in my rears in alittle over a year (5k miles). I have patched them all. Next flat and I am putting on the new set of Pilots I have in the garage. Still trying to find time to make a good burnout video with what's left with the originals.

A patch will work but you will lose your "Z" rating (high speed reliability). If you want to retain yor "Z" rating try and find a place that will "vulcanize" it.

If you're uneasy about the tire, buy a rim, patch the tire from the inside and make it your spare. Then go buy yourself a new tire.
