Having run Vipers over the years on Road Courses with an occasional Autocross, there are two observations I would make on the Hoosier:
1. Make sure you 3M Clearcoat behind the rear wheels.
2. Wait for results, but the R6 is likely a better choice with the amount of torque Snakes put out.

I Autocrossed always with the Roadrace compound because the Viper took no time at all to heat them up. The lifecycle of the A6 is going to be fairly rapid, so in addition to sufficing in most circumstances , it has the potential of lasting a bit longer.

Keep in mind the heat-cycling of the Hoosiers.

I do have the clear behind the rear wheels. When I take the Viper out for a drive I check the tires they are full of those little rocks. So the 3M clear is a must. I think when the A6 wears out I will give the R6 a try.

Man do these A6's warm up quick. I can see why you use the R6 for road course or auto cross.

I could be wrong but the way I understand it the R6 would need heat cycling but not the A6. With the A6 use just a minimal scuff on first runs. No shaving with the A6 or R6.

Boost 6-8lbs

No internal engine changes. The DLM level two system has all those goodies. One I know of in Florida just had his srt with the DLM level 2 ,and a few other mods, put on the dyno and had 900 rwhp.

I did get the DLM large cooler & pump. Here is a couple of pics showing the stock paxton cooler & pump and DLM's.

My viper has been running around 185-200 degree water temp. I am pleased with these numbers.

Thought I would share with you a change Doug made-Got my Motons installed a few months before the SC install. I asked for the Viper to be slammed. Did not have the wheel rubbing problem but , with the shorter Pirelli tires, had scraping especially on the rear diffusers.

Doug raised the front and rear near 3/4". I liked it slammed but it was just not practical. Now I can go where I want to and not worry about scraping or rubbing.

Here is a pic showing as it is now-second pic slammed-third pic no lowering. In the second pic slammed, with Pirelli tires on front & rear, the front jack points were 2 1/4" from ground and rear 2 3/4". Now the jack points are 3" and 3/ 1/2 " with the rear A6's. The A6 and Pirelli rear tires are about the same diameter.

I think your current state is the best. Stock is too high, and your slammed pic was just too low to be practical. Your car looks great now, is more drivable, and still has that aggressive rake that looks so good...

JohnK-It gives me more peace of mind while driving. Don't have to worry about scraping etc. To be honest with the Viper slammed their was some drive way entrances that I could not negotiate without scraping. Even in my own drive way I had problems. I am very happy with the change.

One other change - Doug moved the Moton Canisters from the cross bars to the area by each side of the air box. I wanted them to stay under the hood for easy adjusting.

What does the intercooler look like standing (low) in front of the car? Do you have a pic? Did you leave it the natural finish or paint it black?
