"Did you ever think she may not even know what a Viper is? What if she says, "I love your Corvette?"

That's what I was thinking.
Unless she is interested in cars, she will not even know what a Viper is.
If she is not interested in cars, she will not be interested in hearing any details.

Take the Viper and if she does notice that isn't just some run of the mill, little convertible,
just say something about it being a little toy that you picked up.

Do not, DO NOT, speak of the car again on the date.

And remember that there is a possibility that her hair getting blown will be much more important to her than your little open car.

No matter what sports car you have, I would never take it on a first date let alone on a date with someone I did not know for sometime. Maybe I am old fashioned but I just feel it is something that does not need to be discussed until the right time. Do not want a girl that is into the car and lifestyle more than me.

Thanks. Had one girl that I liked and wanted to persue a relationship with and then found out she was really into the "being seen" aspect. Hated that and felt very used.

it all depends...if you are going to a nice place and are going top down and she is wearing a skirt...take the tahoe...you can always surprise her when you pick her up for the second date when you know she is not into you just because of your car...just my quick 2 cents.

So, I have a date tomorrow night and we are going to PF Changs (a "nice" restuarant for those who are not familiar with them). She does not know that I have a Viper. I would love to take the Viper, but am nervous about the consequences.

What do y'all say-take the Viper (it is supposed to be a B-E-A-UTIFULL night-so the top will come off  ), or take the Tahoe?

Afraid she will not like you if you do not take it? If so, you better take it.

I hope for your sake that you don't need it.

Nothing worse than some of these guys who need to "use" the car to get women. That and old men who take pictures of busted ******* girls and their cars.

So if you feel safe with impressing her with "you", don't take the car. If feel the need to take it, run down to ******* so you to can "Be The Man".

Good luck on your date....without your Viper. :2tu:
Well, my license plate does read PNS EXT-is that a bad sign?

Ok, really, the only reason that I was afraid of taking the Viper was the image that it creates. I didn't want her to see the Viper and instantly think money-and then she only sticks around for the exact reasons that F355 mentioned.

Well, I took it anyways as I was running late to pick her up and was already in it. She really counldn't care less about it-I mean, she thought it was cool, but just another car.
I ended up leaving it out front with the Valet who looked after it-a few dead presidents helped in this case

Long story short, date went GREAT!

Yes, I think most chicks could care less about if it is a viper, vette or hyundai. Now money seems to be high on their priority list but they are the ones you probably want to stay away from anyway. My wife loved me when I was poor and... Well, I am still poor and she still loves me. ;) :smirk:

That is so funny. Can you imagine if you guys got married, you would be fighting on who would be driving every night.
