looks nice PhoenixGTS

do you happen to know the weight savings over stock

tia
From what I have gathered from ther threads, the six-spokers compared to the Gen II 18" OEM wheels save a full 10 pounds on each wheel for the front and 6-7 pounds for each wheel in the rear.

6 Spokes weigh the same as the ACR wheels, the lightest stock wheels you can buy and probaly a lot cheaper than the sidewinders.

thanks gents

I bought a set of 6 spokes from JonB. They're being chromed now. They will go on my 06 Coupe for track use. While I actually prefer the look of the stock 5 spokes I'll use the 6 spokes on the track because of the weight advantage. If I go cruising or to a show with the car I'll probably put the 5s on. Both sets will have tires mounted.

I about bought a set for my car from JonB to have chromed, but like you they really don't think there that great looking of wheel over what i already have. They don't make me say wow! I really don't need two sets of wheels, don't have time or money to track my car.:(

Yea I wouldn't have bought them either if it wasn't for the weight and the fact that I do track the car. I actually already had two sets, one set of chromed 5 spokes and one set of 10 spokes (the ones that came standard on the 03-05 cars before the 5 spokes came out). I got the 10 spokes for $1200 on ebay and only used them as my track wheels so as not to mess up the 5 spokes. Problem with the 10s is that they weigh a ton!

The 6 spokes are cheap right (about $1700 including shipping) now because the manufacturer of the wheel dumped a ton of them on the aftermarket. The 5 spokes are still expensive so I don't want to wreck them. After I get my 6s I might sell the 10s. Then I'll have one set for show and another for go.

I just picked up a set of 6 spokes and Hoosier A6's from JonB and they look great, not to mention quite a bit lighter then the 5 spoke stock ones that came on the 06 First Edition Coupe. I think the 5 spokes look much "tougher" (more aggressive), but the 6's are nice.
