I had my 97 GTS dyno a couple weeks ago and am wondering if the numbers look right. It was done on a Dynojet 248h.

Third pull was the best at 432.03 @ 143mph.

Mod's include Belenger Header's, Snake-Oyl catback, K&N/Smooth Tubes, and aluminium flywheel.

Thoughts on the above numbers, I was thinking they were a little low but I happy with 432...

I do have a soft copy of the results if anyone is interested. The A/F mixture looks good (that I can tell).

Steve, there's nothing wrong with those numbers! Is that with stock cats? High flows? No cats?
The only real way to tell how much the mods increased hp is to do a "before" dyno as well. The '97s respond really well to exhaust modifications.
Assuming a 15% driveline loss, that's 508hp at the flywheel. Not bad! Congrats.

Thanks for the feedback Bill. To be honest, I don't know what the cat's are - they are there as I pass emissions (I assume they sniffed when they tested last time). I guess I will call the original owner and see about the cat's, unless anyone has a good idea of how to "easily" check...

You could remove 1 side sill (Rocker panel) to see the exhaust system. Very easy to do, should take under an hour your first time. If memory serves, 4 bolts on bottom and 6 bolts on top. Is that Snake oyl a 2.5' or 3' system? Looks like a 2.5 inch. Sounds like you are in great need of some high flow cats and 3' exhaust system. You may be shooting yourself in the foot with great headers and a 2.5' exhaust.

This link will be VERY helpful.
