Do you drive with your spare?

I find myself taking out the spare but some people think that I'm crazy. I know that there is always tow truck option. How many of you had changed the tire for the spare. Do you drive with your spare?

Never drive without your spare. It is designed into the car to aid the structure in a collision.

I had to use my spare once...
It worked fine...looked like $h!t but saved my a$$.
Drove with it for about 50 miles.
The biggest problem was finding a place to put the rear tire/wheel.
Ended up putting it on my pass. seat.....lucky I had *just* dropped my date off, or she would have had to get a cab
Also, Jason is correct about the safety thing .

I have my spare in place as many warned before on other threads, including Chuck Tator that it is part of the structural integrity of the car, should you get rear ended.
