Anyone buy one yet and if so, how do you like it so far. I heard some dealers are marking them up $4,000 over sticker.

I'd like to hear about this as well! And I would bet Woodhouse (and others) won't mark them up like that. I am going to respectfully move this to Off Topic for further discussion...

I'm going to order mine in January. Until then, I'll settle for a Chebby with a 528 HEMI...

Just got my 2500 Quad Cab short bed with the Hemi 5.7 motor! What can I say... The best! I waited a year for that Hemi. It was worth the wait. Paid $35K out the door. Fully loaded. My Dodge dealership was great. "Herbee Motors", in West Islip, NY. Waiting for a cat back exhaust from Borla. They say it's in the works. Everyone should own a Dodge, Hemi! I love it

Does anyone know if and or when the Hemi will be available in the 2wd Dakota?

This I would buy. I do not like trucks but this would change my mind on that.

If anyone is interested, being a D.C. employee I can get 3 more control numbers for "Friends Certificate Pricing" till the end of this year for anyone interested.

I believe the program starts all over January 1st, at which point I should have 4 available.

I just got one for a friend in CA.
When I called to get the control number, they say the pricing is 1% under dealers invoice.

If you're interested email me at SNK [email protected]

Ordered my 1500 4WD, 4 door, about 3 weeks ago and getting very anxious! Got it with the 20" wheels, skid plates.....many other options. 4 Wheel disc is standard. 10,000 lb. towing capacity. Should come in around mid-late January. Thanks to Chuck Tator for steering me in the right direction!

I don't beleive the Dakota will come with the hemi.

Oh, by the way. 4K over? No way. Chuck showed me the computer printout and we agreed on a fair price over that. My final cost was 34 and that included many extras that I got added into the finance since I took the 0% 3 years, I figured I'd use Dodge's money.

I got the middle of the line. Not the cheapest, not the highest....I'm happy.

Mike,

Lee Saunders just picked one up the other day. It runs like a scalded dog! We are going to "spruce" it up in a few weeks.

I recently purchased a 3500 4 door with the new Cummins diesel and it runs away from my Powerstroke ford and has alot more amenities.

I highly recommend Mike Smith at Orlando Dodge. He will treat you right. 407-299-1120

See you soon,

Tom

26-27? Curious. I added 20 " Wheels, skid plates, security, with bedliner, rear seat flat storage, bed lid, mud flaps, running boards, and some other stuff.....it adds up quick. And oh....tax also.

Gawd, I am dying laughing that some Dealers would be jacking the price up $4000 over sticker - heck there is $2000 rebate on Ram Trucks right now. The dealer's reasoning is probably due to the lack of availability, but that should change in about 2-3 weeks, when shipping, etc., starts back up after the Holidays. We are in the Top 10 Dealers ( truck wise ) in the country, and I can guarantee the places willing to bump up this truck will be in the bottom 10 in a week. This is the NEW King of the Road Motor and Dodge will build tons of them, it just will take a while to ramp up. Shortages are based now on popularity, and we have quite a few 3/4 tons. The 1/2 ton is barely out, and delayed with Christmas and Thanksgiving. They will be a little hard to get for awhile, but over sticker is a good way to lose customers.

Sincerely,
Bill Pemberton
