Does anybody make a \"Dual Pillar Gauge \" for the Viper ?

I have one on my C5 , it has the Fuel Pressure and Boost Gauge in the Pillar..It looks great. I haven't been able to find one for the RT.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've found one that just mounts over the stock pillar but it looks like [******].

Thanks !

Jeff,

The only one reasonably close to fitting is the one sold by Elite. This pod needs some work to get it to fit. There is a big gap at the top that needs to be addressed. This is the same one that I am going to use.

I created one with a little help with a heat gun and dremel tool, it fits great, Smokin has seen it and it also exposes the vin for easy reading.

The gap issue has been addressed,we now have a much better fitting pod available for gen2 only. Also anyone that purchased our original pods that would like to exchange them for the new ones feel free to return and we will send out the new one at no cost

Vipermed 97,01,

How did you address the gap? Did someone finally make a mold and create a pod that fits the Viper? I would like to take you up on your offer for an exchange. I will email you for details. Pics please:) Thanks.

There is a couple of reasons these are not popular items on the viper

1....The A-post is solid/non removeable which is the case on most cars but they usually have removable molding to form a mold. The Viper does not.And if you were to mold it to the a-post only it would not work which leads to #2

2....The A-post is very narrow which does not allow a clean fit and still be able to house the 2 1/16 gauges so it has to be used in conjunction with the windshield frame which is why the gen1 guys are out in the cold again.Send me your pod and we will replace.will try and post pics tommorow

I have this pod and don't like it. It's designed to be too low and interferes with steering. I had to trim it to get it
higher but it's still in the way. And it scratches the hell out of the pillar. Put some sticky pad in between before you install it.

my 2 cents.
good luck,
Dave.
