Does the Viper have to have a V10?

The Lambo connection was discussed previously with somebody in the high up. I believe it was in an issue of Viper Mag. While it was true that Lambo was to design the motor, in the end the only thing "Lambo" on the V10 was the intake design. If I remember correctly the article said they scrapped the Lambo V10 design.

Just reporting what I read.

The V10 is pretty amazing, no doubt. And I find it hard to believe Dodge could not push another 100 HP from the motor with a little time and money (while keeping it NA). On the other hand, the Merc. V12TT has crossed my mind...
