What is Vipair and how does it work?
(I dont know "beans" about it)
Cheers,
Vipair is a product that helps collect all the cooler air and direct it into the airbox. It is good for another 50HP AT THE WHEELS! :smirk: :D :D

Vipair? Did someone say Vipair......?

The short answer is, no, it won't work on gen1.
Of course it doesn't work on gen2 either.
You will get a SOTP feeling though, a lighter feeling in your wallet.

Where's that dead horse?

Here we go.

Any of you guys who are thinking about going back to that Vipair thread, I guess I better fess up.

A couple of weeks ago I was on the board looking around. It was really early in the morning and I could see that I was the only one on the board. Ever been on here all by yourself? Feels kind of creepy doesn't it?

Well I clicked back to the Vipair discussion from months ago. I was reading and clicking and, well, all of a sudden I felt natures call.
Honest, I tried to find my way out but it was too late. A guy can get lost in all those posts... you know what I mean. It's sort of like being out in the woods.

Ok, I took a dump right there next to one of Gerald's posts.

I had to go, simple as that, no time to find my way out.
Gerald, it wasn't anything to do with you, I just happened to be there and, like I said, I had to go.

I'm sorry about the whole thing. I know, not being a VCA member anymore, I should have just held back, but I just couldn't.

So anyway, that's it. You guys who want to go back there,
watch where you step.

The simple answer is no, it does not work on a Gen I. Gen I's came from the factory with cold air inlets.

Ahh, the reduction in money from my wallet yields a better power/weight ratio, increasing acceleration. My wallet being thinner results in an increase in seat of the pants feel.
Got it.
Where can I get one of these again??
;)
