Drag Racing Question

I am going drag racing this weekend and I do not own drag wheels/tires. Would I be better off running my stock 17" wheels/tires or my 17" Purner road race wheels/BFG R1A tires. I realize that neither of these will be ideal. With the stronger sidewall on the R1A's will I have more of a hookup problem than with the stock setup? Any advice would be apprecaited. Thanks.

Stick with the stock setup. Drop your tire pressure in the rear to 20 or 24 psi, and search the board for DRAG RACING for additional tips.
