Took our Lotus Elise for service at Lambo of Chicago. After leaving the car, I requested a ride in a Gallardo. Thinking the service manager would say no, he threw me the keys and said "there you go". Shocked, I got in and after a few minutes of instruction was off for a run with the car. Let me just say, if cash was no object the Gallardo would be my daily driver. Fit finish, braking, winding V10, and one hella ride. Nothing against the Viper, (we love ours) but the Lambo is a whole different and super cool ride. The Viper is fast, the Elise handles like its on rails, but the Gallaro.... Well, it's auto nirvana.

I took a ride around Sebring in a Murci and would have bought one on the spot if I had the scratch. I've seen Gallardos on the track but haven't had the chance at one yet.

Nice cars. Very easy to drive on the track, especially with the paddle shifter. I have spanked a couple of them, however, on the road course in my '97 GTS.

are you feeling ok? forget to take your medicine today or what? this is so not like you to say something like this.................... after hearing your replies to the new C6 Z06 for the last several months i would have expected to hear anything but this.

i was beginning to think that you were so jaded that you thought the viper was the only car on the planet. well i must say this is the most refreshing thing i have heard you say since the new C6 Z06 vette has come out. feels good to come out of the rain and stand in the sunshine once in a while now don't it :D

Jeeze FF are you kidding? Murci or Z06? ...uh, real tough choice.

Yes, the Viper is the only car on the planet...for me. When I win the lottery, marry wealth or somehow make millions then my car options will be expanded. And they still won't include a Vette.

The F40/F50/Enzo still do it for me. I saw the Gallardo at an auto meet. Beautiful. But curves are better than wedgies! :D

Amen. I can't wait for all the various wedgies to fade out of fashion. Get back to some curves.

Style versus fashion.......

I saw an Enzo in Austria this year.

"Dear Lord.... please ignore my sins and give me an Enzo"

Very spiritual experience. :D

Way Sweet Ride...
Had to have been a great experience.

Would be a tough choice between a Gallardo and
a Murci. Price is definently a consideration .
However , Ive seen a few Murc's listed for not much
more than Gallardo's ..Maybe Someday..

I driven the crap outta my friends 04 Merci E-gear and plan on looking for one in a funky orange/green or?this winter. We've ran side by side many times and i've pulled him up to 120ish,then its his ballgame. It's the first car I really didn't have to drive fast to get satisfied. We'd park at starbucks and leave the doors UP,people just freak. Most car chicks would get naked for a ride.Hope I can find a used ****** for couple of bones.
Price wise the Lambo is the Viper of exotics.
