Given the obvious need to strap down the car during a pull, I was wondering if the stress placed on the frame, in a area perhaps not designed for that type of stress, could or has ever caused any damage to the vehicle?

I have already dyno'd mine with no ill effects, but was just wondering. Has anyone ever heard of one breaking free during a pull?

Thanks...

Ron, we tie our Vipers down on the dyno with the same R hooks that we use for tying the cars down in our trailer. The R hooks fit into reinforced slots in the frame that are designed to tie the car down for transporting. We have seen no damage in many miles of towing and no damage from dynoing...

The dyno operators also like the R hooks as it enables changing from one car to another faster...
