Ebay Administrative Cancellation?

Back on ebay for the third time. The last auction was at $47k before it was cancelled by the seller a couple hours before the end. This current auction went to $62k in the first 12 hours, then had either 1 or 2 bid retractions which brought it back to $54k. Now it appears it is at $47k again this time due to "administrative cancellation". Remember that song, "You put your right foot in, you take your right foot out...."? Seems like someone is dancing the hokey pokey here. JMHO.

Why doesn't that asss just set a reserve or set the price where he wants it. Games are for kids.

I agree, sellers that practice this sort of crap should not be tolerated. I would report the seller to safeharbor, using the violation of reserve fee avoidance. It is not right for these jerks to get people emotionally invested in a vehicle (possibly avoiding other auctions), and then pulling it at the last minute because they don't like the mental reserve they have set.

Hmmm.. bid retractions? Could it be the seller bidding on his own auction, and then pulling back when he exceeds the true high bid?

How convenient with the private bidding auction cloak!

if you really want the car...call the dealer..get the owners name (it doesn't belong to the dealer, its on consignment) call the owner and get the info.

This dealer is very suspect.
