Electric exhaust cut-outs

Heard a loud SRT-8. Here's why it was so loud.... not too sure about dumping the fumes there for extended time though.

I wouldn't bother. I tried some manual dumps on my RT/10 back in 1996 while in the middle of something else, and didn't even gain a hundredth in back to back runs.

I had a set of QTP electric cutouts on a C5 vette. They were great! I personally thought the exhaust sounded better dumping out of the cutouts than most aftermarket systems I heard. Plus, you have the best of both worlds. A nice throaty sound for driving locally and quiet for long drives on the highway. Seriously considered it for the RT but haven't done it yet. $300 plus install. I did mine myself.

I would not use then ether but I have had some hot rodder's ask about where to buy cut-offs.
