THANK YOU Lagalaxy for the scanned pilot sport leaflet, I have had my Viper for just over 14 months now, I had not ever seen that leaflet 
Got to say guys the tone of some of this thread seems a but rough, give the guy a break, at least Lagalaxy is posting Viper related stuff, I don't see the problem, if you don't want to read it, just move on

Well, sorry if I was a little rough, but c'mon! There are no less than 10 posts on the first page of this forum alone about old, scanned ads. Hard to "just not read it" when a third of all the posts are about this stuff. I didn't start the thread complaining, either. In fact, I offered a solution via the photobucket link. But when he started complaining about not having enough time and whatnot, well, give me a break!

That solves the issue of the very minor annoyance to the folks that aren't interested in old ads and articles.
Just link to the photobucket page and the visitor can click on the photo to view it full size, and right click and choose "Save Picture as..." or on the first page's small photo, a tool bar appears at the top of the photo and one choice is download. PM me if you need an example, I'll send a link to a photo I have on photobucket.
I very much appreciate the effort you are making. There are always skeptics and those that resist something different in ANY group.

I don't think asking him to combine the posts into one large one is out of reason. Most everyone even THANKED him for what he's doing. I have seen no "blasting him" (as he referred to it in another thread of his). You can have 25 images in one post. Think of how annoying it'd be if I did a separate thread for every ******* girl picture I posted. I'd expect everyone to say "hey thanks for the eyecandy, but combine them!" as well. If he made one post with all the pics in them, whats so hard about someone saying "Hey, can you please send me the Red Gen 2 RT/10 cigarette ad"? Do they really each need their own thread? Again, thanks for taking the time to do it, I've enjoyed seeing them, just try to make it a little less cluttered, please.

I take you point, I didn't say that was a bad idea. I do that all the time in another forum but all those pics are the same thing. I planned on putting a few in one topic, it just didn't work out that way yesterday, ok. Not all the ads are the same thing and should be put together. Also when there are 25 pics in one topic it takes for ever sometime to load and most people give up. I get that point okay, but 4 little topics is it really hurting anything. maybe there should be 3 topics on this whole site. Pics, Tires, Wheels and every ? should be posted in that topic. No new posts allowed.
People that thanked me to support me because someone put up a topic bashing me / calling me out. How would you feel if someone put up a post with your name in the headline telling you, your trashing the forum? I thought we had a PM system for these things, but I'm wrong I know.
last thing I'm trying to do is fight, I was called out not the other way around, like they say "Fighting on the internet is like running in the special ..............................." ( I edited because i don't want to offend anyone, it's just a saying)

Unofficially, who give's a ****? At least he's contributing in a positive manner something of substance to the VCA community. I don't need the government to decide for me what is and isn't appropriate nor when to wipe myself. I have the power...I can ignore posts. Well, as a moderator not all of the time but just don't read his posts if it bothers you...WE HAVE THE POWER AT OUR FINGER TIPS! Ignore list is also a wonderful thing. (Ignore list does work FYI). I don't think we need yet another "Print Ads 101" forum....
My rule, unofficially, is that any threads that have Vipers and Chick pics and/or Viper print ad are A OK. Knock yourself out. Over time, however, managing all of these ad posts will be cumbersome. I suggested it before, just make one thread with all of the ads in it. Put it into the Memorabilia/Collectibles forum because let's face it...these ads are pretty much that at this point. To make it easy to find an ad in the thread (beyond the useful search function which will search posts within a thread too) create a bookmark post in the thread. It's an index with hyperlinks to the individual ads within the thread. Easy and I'll even help put it together. This way, when galaxy posts a new ad, it just shows up once in the latest threads list. Just an idea.
I bet the complaints would cease if say 1 out of every 3 ad posts had a chick pic in it. Just sayin'. And Galaxy...THANK YOU for taking the time and effort to make these ads available to all here.

And I bet that if I bumped every one of lagalaxy13's recent posts with a "thank you", you'd get so many complaints you'd ban me. More than the entire first page of the forum would be these posts. Is that why we are here?
