It seems the Red/Black ACR's will mostly be built last. The question is do the ACR's get built all together or scattered throughout production, My guess is scattered.

I also have a Red/Black ACR in D-1 Status. It has been in this status for Approx 6 weeks. Someone on an earilier thread had his ACR in D-1 status for 3 months before it started to move-I HOPE NOT-IT MAY END UP BEING A CHRISTMAS PRESENT.
I orginally ordered mine in the middle of DEC 2007.

As far I know, the ACR's are built along with the regular Vipers, not separately.

Where in So. Calif do you live. I live in South Orange County. I have a Red/Black ACR on order as stated in previous thread. I hope you bring your ACR one Saturday to the Car gathering at the Ford Headquarters building located at Irvine center Drive & Alton Parkway in Irvine every Saturday from 6:00AM to about 9:30AM. I would love to see it.

I go there every Saturday.

I'm up in Valencia. I went to C&C once in my FGT, and it was pretty good. We got up at 5am, and still got there too late for parking. :D

I'll see if I can get it there soon. I should be the first, or one of the first ACRs in Cali. :)

You would be the First ACR at the Irvine Auto Gathering. I don't know of any other delivered to California.

If you want to get in the First line parking (accross from the catering area, you probably need to leave at 4:30AM.) I will probably not get my ACR for 2 or 3 months, however, I will be getting my Shelby GT500 back from the Super Snake Conversion from Shelby in Las Vegas (725HP) in the next 2 or 3 weeks & I plan to take it to Irvine.

When you plan to take it to Irvine, let me know. Maybe VIPER93 could also bring his Awesome 08 Orange Coupe.

SSG Roadster, Ordered May 6 /07, Shipped July 2 /08. Still has not shown up at the dealers . I can't believe it left on the 2nd as I know it wouldn't take 10 days to get it here. Reliable probably can't afford our $6.21 a gallon Diesel to deliver here in Alberta.:confused:

My SSG coupe was built on May 12, 2008 and alledgedly shipped shortly thereafter. Did not arrive at dealer here in Toronto until July 2, 2008.

The plant opens back up on Monday. Hopefully some of the built cars that have been sitting for the past two weeks will be shipped.

Not to be negative but I will tell you Dodge is really lacking in their manufacturing/delivery process.I have had 6 porsches manufactured to my specs and they are so far advanced and dedicated to there delivery dates
Dodge seems like their attitude is you will get the car when ever we get around to it.Seem to be lacking any urgency what so ever.
Again,sorry to be negative.

it seems that if there is a problem, Dodge should at least give everyone who has been patiently waiting an update to let them know that whatever issue has been resolved has, this is common courtesy and good business practice. These cars are not some top secret military project.
I am curious to know how many of you have either a. after months of nothing, finally given in and buying a different Viper than what you ordered. b. decided to buy a totally different brand of car or c. decided to just stick it out because of the old addage that good things come to those who wait?
I will say that I am sticking it out, although it has been tough at times, and there are plenty of deals to be had out there. i have seen as much as $10,000 under MSRP for a Viper. Tempting, isn't it? I will end this somewhat negatively tinged post by saying that the Viper community is the best, Bill P and Woodhouse are terrific, Ringgold Dodge is a great dealership, and hats off to the SRT guys for the great effort to build these awesome cars for us. :2tu: ps Tony's BBQ rules.

I actually did a combo of a. and c. I bought a 2002 RT/10 so I can have something to drive and enjoy until mine is finally delivered. At least I status is being built. I know some people are still in D1, so at least yours has been somewhat built.:)
