99.9% going for Sean Roe borla exhaust HF cats and borla mufflers as they bolt straight on no welding..
Has anybody else had this setup HOW LOUD is it compared to standard..

Sounds good but 94db inside with top on. Ok with top off. You will need ear plugs on a long trip, I did.

Top on or off, to me not any different, is alot louder. Just the way I like it! The sound is excellent, but like said above, long trips will kill ya! - I wouldn't want it any other way!

Funny you should ask.............

I've always had Borla mufflers on my '94, but decided to add Roe high flow cats to reduce the side sill temperature. At least, that's what I told my wife. Secretly though, I was hoping to see (or hear) some increase in the exhaust "tone".

Immediately after having the cats installed, I wrote Sean that I could not hear any difference. His response: "Wait for a few hundred miles".

Well, it's now been 2 weeks and 400 miles and it is indeed louder.

But, it's apparently not apparent to my wife who hasn't said a thing! So. I've accomplished both my goals and still have my auditory acuity as well.

Another note, I wonder what the SRTs with side exhaust will sound like with a better flowing exhaust. I assume they will be a bit louder, but annoying?
