I misread some of this as well.... Well, you are in the UK.... hmmm.... so difficult for a turner indeed. If it were my car, I would probably take it to the drag strip and see what kind of times I could put down. Your HP/TQ numbers are way off... You should be alot higher with your mods and especially the ported heads, like people have been saying. Since checking the trottle bodys would do no good and you can't just take off the heads and slide the cam out, I would approach ligically like others are saying....
Check Spark plugs.... Time consuming, but a logical step. Also, maybe even pull off each plug wire as well to confirm each cylinder is getting a spark and see if you can see the spark. I sometimes push a nail up in the wire so it makes contact and hold it down my the plug to see the electrical spark.
Fuel.... I wonder if you are getting adequate fuel? I just changed my fuel filter as my car has 70,000 miles on it. I thought of changing it, because I could hear my fuel pump "whining" a little and then it would cut out and hear it once in a while again, although this did not seem to affect my power at the time. I had to listen closely, but I heard it. Now I hear absolutely nothing with the new filter. Maybe it is flowing freely now and thats why it's not whining. I couldn't feel any difference in power with the new filter though. It's not too hard to change, just need a little afternoon time and safety goggles, so you don't get gas in your eyes.
Check wireing/vacume lines. Take some time and go through the motor and check each connector and plug that is oriented around electrical wires. Also check the rubber vaccume lines for cuts and holes. Maybe a vacume line came off somewhere in the back side of the motor? May want to check the PCV Valve too, it's located in the valve cover, costs a few bucks for a new one. Check the wires around the injectors.... they need to be plugged in securely.
The only other thing I can think of is checking stuff around the air filters.... Of course your car needs air/fuel/spark, so just double check stuff keeping that in mind.
Good luck and post up if you find anything!!! Cheers!
