extended warranty problem

Could someone please help me with this problem, maybe one of the dealers out there? I purchased an extended warranty two months ago from the local dealer here in Ga. Paid two thousand dollars for mostly powertrain coverage. This is a DC warranty. The dealers warranty rep called me to ask to bring vehicle in for mileage verification. A couple of days later I did so, and at that time, the rep informed me that the mileage on a previous ro was more. I have owned the car for four years, and have only brought it in for the ngr fluid change about three years ago. Rep stated "it must have gotten keyed in wrong". I went to the dealer Saturday, rep informed me that the problem might take "30-60-or 90 more days to sort out" She offered to refund my money, which I refused and asked for a contact number with DC. She only offered me the customer service number. So my dilema is obvious--some person had entered the incorrect number, the dealer has the payment, I have the contract, but apparantly have not been covered. Any suggestions??? Thanks, John

Yes, just ngr fluid change and another time the dealer handed me new side pipe covers, but the car never entered the shop. Is that unusual? John

Hi John,
It should not be that hard to correct? The Dealer has verified the millage. At this point it should be one phone call to DCSC people! The only Ph # I can give you is 800-521-9922, tell them what's going on and then they call the Dealer for verification. Once that has been dun, the correct millage should be in the system within a few days! When you call them, you'll be talking to a not so sharp knife! Talk slowly and clearly to them! :D

I just took mine in for the head gasket issue...... and the dealer did the computer scan..... the computer showed 331,500 miles????????

The odometer shows 31,500. The dealer just re-keyed the correct mileage without question.

Should be a quick fix for you... just pursue it.
