I think the reason the GTS was in the segments at the beginning and end was because those segments were shot on the set in LA and no SRT or Comp Coupe were in the area. The rest of the show was shot on location in the Phoenix area.

I believe the Comp Coupe did beat the jet in it's runs.

Thats wrong. The SRT destroyed the F-16 jet in the 1/4 mile but lost at the 1/2 mile.The SRT finished the 1/2 mile @ 13.7..outstanding for a STOCK car.
