What is the best thing to use to clean the wheels that won't harm the finish but cut the grease / dust?

What is a good wax / product to use to protect thr finish?
I was told to stay away from metal / chrome polishes.
Thanks

Thanks.
The same Zaino system that you use on the body or do they make a product for wheels?
Is Zaino sold at any mass merchandisers?
Thanks

I used the same procedure on my wheels as I did on my car. I think it only available on-line, there may be a few distributors in major cities but Little Rock doesn't qualify.

I was EXTREMELY pleased with the product and give it my highest recommendation.

I used Meguir's (spelling wrong, close enuff) new Scratch-X cream on my stock wheels and the stuff really polished them up nicely, almost a crystal kind of light refraction off the chrome. I have also used Zaino on the wheels, use it exclusively on the paint and it is by far the best polish ever in my opinion, but I have to give the edge on the wheels to the Scratch-X.

I would concur that Zaino is the stuff for the wheels.

You are correct to stay away from any type of metal polish as the wheels are clearcoated and this would damage them.

Like smashman, I used a scratch remover (I use Blue Coral's) before the Zaino to remove and light marks. They look like mirrors when done.

To make it short..treat them like you would the paint on the car.

Again, I use the Blue Coral version of Scratch X, and I have used it on the gas cap-door on a GTS, body paint, even on guitars. Works great, huh?
