Purchased a new 2001 Saphire Blue RT10 with Conlley interior. Want to see it's Birth place. Does anyone know do they give factory tours? How do you do it? Who do you contact? Please reply.

Absolutely! Factory tours are always available. Here's some ideas:

Call your regional President and ask if they want to set up a club tour ... or, just call Viper HQ at 800-998-1110 and Kim or Fiona should be able to help you out.

Make sure you bring a credit card... the Viper Store is DANGEROUS!

Cudaman, you will absolutely love the tour of CAAP. It was a wonderful experience to go there last year in January with the Illinois and Indiana/Kentucky members. We had a great time, and we got a chance to pose with the 2003 Viper at the Detroit Auto Show besides. The workers take great pride in building the Viper, and you will be amazed at how much of it is built by hand!
See if you can get in with a group to ASC (Automotive Specialties Corp, use to be American Sunroof Corp) to see the body panel work they do.

The tour is highly recommended! We walked down the assembly line to see parts being assembled into modules and those being put together and assembled into a Viper. We witnessed the numerous quality control checks and assorted tests being done to the cars. We had the oppotunity to ask questions and speak with the craftspeople who do the assembly. They are an amazing group of dedicated people. The other sight that was really fun was all of the shiny, new Vipers and Prowlers in that enormous room ready for delivery. And finally we dropped a bunch of $ at the CAAP Store picking up assorted souvenirs that are only available there. We talked with Kim at VCA Headquarters to set it up. I would love to do it again.
