In most of Florida, Friday night started off a full 10 degrees cooler than the 24 hours prior, and it's been more of the same right through today.
Weekend days filled with plenty of (pre tourist arrival) beach time. Afternoon and evenings spent driving with top off in the RT/10. Certainly plenty of reflection this weekend realizing how short life is, how quick the gift of life can be taken away, and how lucky some of us are.
Weatherman says cool down was due to hurricane missing Florida east coast, heading north in the Atlantic and bringing cool air behind it. It's also brought some unsurpassed driving days. Girlfriend siting next to me, long blonde hair moving thru the air reminded me of a Loreal commercial........only thing more beautiful has been seeing the huge 6x4 American Flags proudly streaming thru the air on the back of pick ups.
The "early autumn" will revert back to "summer" later this week as the hot air and rainy afternoons come back into town. Realisticly, we won't see cooler days again 'till mid October. Meanwhile, I took off today and I'm seriously considering playing hooky tomorrow. (trying to turn the hat trick into a four day weekend)
