Anyone familiar with Naples Motorsports in Naples FL and their sister store BayState Motorsports in Malden MA?
Both have white 96's that I am looking at.
Any thoughts on this edition Viper?
Anyone close that could take a look at the cars for me if I get to that point?

PM me if you are close and could take a look.

I understand that the cylinder liner creep problem was solved on the 96's but do they still have the "bad" gasket problems?
Thanks!

This "creep" you speak of is hogwash if you ask me. It is the head gasket material and design that is crap. I first spoke with Doug Levin in person in 2000 and he told me it was a bad design. He was having custom ones made up a few years back. Chuck Tator has replaced over two dozen and has not seen any with the "creeping sleeves" either and has agreed that the factory original gasket is junk. I just pulled mine and they looked like junk. My sleeves were right on the money. The new gaskets are multi-layered and will solve the problem. Plus with increased cylinder head bolt torque, they really won't leak!

I know people have said that Arrow has said that their liners moved etc. Arrow has to justify the cost of a rebuild right? Why not "pad it" and mention a few other things that were out of spec by .000000000000000001" to make both the customer and Mother Mopar feel like they got their money's worth?

Gasket problems tend to be limited to external seals. Front timing cover, oil pan and valve cover breathers being the most frequent culprits.

Purchased my 1994 RT/10 from Todd at Naples Motorsports. They treated me very well and the car is great. I probably paid $1,500 above market to get the car but couldn't pass it up (verified one owner with full service history). Prior to buying from Naples I had looked at 8-10 other cars (all 1994 or 1995 RT/10's). They were all trash (abused or neglected in some way). I did have a third party inspection done on the car as well. Send me an e-mail if you have any questions.

Thanks scorch.
anyone ever deal or know of anyone that used Naples sister dealership Baystate Motorsports?
They always seem to have clean Vipers and other exotics.
Thanks for the help
