Fan removal

Does anyone know how the remove fan blade from fan motor/pump, need to replace shroud mine is broken. I bought one off eBay and can't figure out how to get fan separated

They are press fit, you need a puller to remove and install. They are similar to a Power Steering Pump Pulley Puller

Dan, can you comment on the fan balancing? Last time I looked at mine, it had ball bearing type spheres wedged in certain areas of the rotating assembly. I imagine they were there to balance the rotating assembly. If so, I am not sure if the balancing was done with the pulley as an assembly or just the fan by itself. Any idea? Or was my balancing inference completely erroneous?
