This has probably been covered elsewhere. I am installing the improved fan on a Gen I. Does anyone know what changes are necessary to connect the new fan (larger diameter fan) with the original wiring?

It connects up just like the old fan. However, the wiring circuit should
be monitored for overheating since it is marginal for the amp draw of the new
fan.

Same as the old one. I cut the plug off the old fan, and put it on the new fan (cut it off also). The plug from the car then plugs right in.

Thanks everyone. Spliced in the old connector just a little bit ago. All looks good. It was nice they kept the same wire color coding so one does not have to be an electrical engineer to figure it out.

Tried it by turning on the A/C and it appears to be working fine. It does have a different sound than the original. Seems a little quieter but has a higher pitch noise in the background when it first starts. Hope it improves the cool down.
