FAST car Fund for the Viper Nats in Norwalk

so, it seems theres just waaaay too much confusion and distention among the troops here as to whats allowed and whats not. the way im reading all this jiberish is; a minimum of FOUR cars need to commit to thereby make a division for the "fast" (nine second or better) cars. if this isnt true then Pauls correct me please.

i for one want to see these monsters run so if this above is not correct then lets find a workable solution; whats it worth to those with the "fast" cars to come and race (nevermind all the fun itd be to enjoy the entire event show, have a whole corral of vipers, steak, lobster, swimming, etc) lets here a dollar amount that would be an adequate purse to bring all the "fast" cars to this event. i agree that to come half way across country to not have a division or a chance to win is not doable. i for one would gladly contribute to the "purse" for this division if enough would put up, shut up and race. is this an option, im just tossing ideas here to get this thing ironed out and make it "the" event its trying to be.

Good thing I'll be slow - I'll just run Mod 2 with all the blower cars that can't run a 9.

How about a fund to fly the OHIO viper tech-in person to Houston to check out the Vipers for the correct class. Once this Viper tech-in track person puts their seal on the car we will come.
I will put some money in for the flight and room. I am sure he will have enough Vipers to toss out or give the thumbs up on.

Repeat! There is no confusion on the rules. They are printed on this forum. We don't want to imply anything will change, it won't!! The silent majority over 10 entered cars strong all support the MOD 2 format, they are the cars coming to race and I'm not changing anything in Mod 2.

The only confusion seems to be why I don't have a Unlimited Class or let Unlimited cars race in MOD 2. Last time, I will run Unlimited cars, Heads Up if four will enter. If there are no takers, lets let this race move forward and stop the bantering.

Not this weekend...I'm doing the drag racing at Viper Days next weekend...If enough people sign up...gotta rally the local boys and round up some vettes to beat on...
