My partners father loves Ferrari's, he offered to take me for a ride in one of his cars and later insisted that I drive the car. So I went for it. The car was a Euro edition so it had 500HP and an adjustable suspension with a push of a button. It felt fast and it was 6-speed. I was very impressed with the TQ since I expected to be disappointed there. I loved the engine sound...the car felt stiffer than my Viper, the clutch had one 10th of travel of my car, the brakes had very little travel and vere very good. The gated shifter looked like it would be hard to shift but it was very easy. The steering was a bit lighter than my car.
I was very impressed with the car and I'm a Lambo fan and was never crazy about 550. If I had the $ I would love to own one. The guy was very cool and he drives his car, he put 16K miles in 2 years. But nothing turns the heads as the Viper does! :D

I love those! One of the most gorgeous cars ever in my opinion! I've never driven a Ferrari of any type! I'd love to!

We have a client with a black 515bhp convertible 550. It'd crack a ***** on a jellyfish... haven't been for a spin yet - just sat in it fired it up and gave it a rev - sounds great... even comes with a red velvet Ferrari car blanket - looks too pretty to touch.

Never been a great Ferrari fan - but in the flesh there is something about them. I'd still take a Murcielago over it tho :D

I prefer convertibles, and I do like the looks of the 550 Barchetta, but at nearly $300,000 it has only a temporary tonneau cover for rain protection that is not rated over 70MPH!

So for the money I'd get a used Ferrari 355 Spyder and a regular Ferrari 550 instead.

I do think that the Ferrari 512TR was a hard act to follow, but the 550 and 575 are worthy decendants.

Hell I'd still buy another Viper and SC the hell out of it before buying one! :)

I don't think I could ever sink that much $$ into one car, Ferrari, Lambo or McLaren. There are just way too many other cars to enjoy...but god do I like to look at that fine piece 'o work...

The Ferrari 550 definately a nice car, there's no sound like the purr of a Ferrari exhaust.

Check out the new Gallardo, a car that really catches my eye???????

No garage should be without one!

your being sarcastic right?

yeah right...dated....even at over a decade old, the Ferrari F40 and 288 GTO still turn heads

Lets not even get into classics like california spyders, GTOs, Daytonas, etc.

Testarosas and 512's, while still kinda Miami Vice, still draw the looks and ohhh and ahhhs.

I wouldn't own a Ferrari. Pretty today, dated tomorrow.

I do agree with that, we are already regarded as classically beautiful compared to srt-10's.....well at least more agressively beautiful

The Gen II Viper will be as classically beautiful as the Ferraris, we just don't have the history yet.
