Dear Adam:

Great pictures. :D I really love them. You are pretty lucky. Well, all I can say is WOW. I have a question for you. I noticed that your calipers are red. Where did you have that done? Are those the original Viper calipers? Do they still say Viper? I wanted to get them painted but thought that it was not a good idea because the Viper logo would be covered on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again :D

KEITH

P.S I sent you an e mail about the March 30th event about where the Viper owners would be meeting. Is there a decision yet? THANKS AGAIN!!!!

Keith, I have StopTech big brake kit installed. For the March 30th event look at my site for meeting info. I'll post when I'm going.

It is amazing how the F40 makes the Viper look so normal. It is trully the best looking ferrari ever built, makes the snake look like a corvette sitting next to a Viper.

Funny thing that the kids liked the Viper more LOL
The F40 was shorter, lower and wider than the Viper.

Thanks for the cool pics.

If he has the boost cranked to produce 600HP in that lightweight F40 racecar body, he's likey to be much quicker than you.

But if you get the chance, you should race him anyway just for the fun of it.

I wonder what the life of that drivetrain would be with the boost cranked up so high!

As cool as the F40 is, I'd be worried about it blowing up, or otherwise wrecking the $$$ car. But I guess that most people would say the same about the Viper.

Keith, I painted all 4 of my calipers last summer with a red VHT brand hi-temp caliper paint. Then I put some vinyl decals on them that exactly matched the painted on lettering on there previously. I bought the decals from a member of the board, but some company out of Florida made them. I think Sean Roe knows the name of the company. Anyways, the only thing I wish I would have done, that I am going to do when the weather warms up, is paint over the decals with a VHT hi-temp clearcoat. The reason I say this is because when I was washing the car and scrubbed the calipers a little, the corners of the decal peeled up a little. It looks GREAT and I get lots of nice comments on them. After I saw the red calipers on the Ferraris in the local dealership I had to make mine look like that too. The cross-drilled and slotted rotors don't look too bad on my car either.
