As you all know the Viper doesn't have much of a sound system. Even worse is the rear imaging due to the rear speaker firing into the trunk. Obviously this doesn't apply to RT/10 guys.

I have finally solved the problem with some help from an installer friend of mine. He fabricated a speaker pod that's attached to the B-pillar trim. It looks amazing. It looks like it came from the factory with the same graining as the trim.

And BTW he installed a rear camera with monitors too

Cool! That rear view mirror thing freaked me out for a second, I've never seen one before.

But then again, I don't get out much.

The rear view monitor is a 6.5" LCD/mirror. The head unit monitor is the Panasonic CQ-VD7500U with a 7" monitor.

What kind of camera did you use for the rear view? I have a chase cam I could use with a DVD head unit, but I don't know how to reverse the image, like a mirror would. A purpose-built rear-view camera would probably solve that problem but I'd rather not buy another.

Where is the camera mounted?
I replaced my trunk key with the camera. So now I open the trunk with the remote trunk release. You can always install the camera on the left side of the license plate by drilling another hole but I'm a little hesitant about drilling holes in my car.

I got it off of ebay. Just search for rear view camera. They are getting cheaper by the day.
