I was expecting Big Brakes or a TT.

Cupholders are usefull in a highway car. They don't work so well if you're racing as the cups always fly out of the holder. I built removeable small metal brackets that have 'clip on' cupholders.

Is your cupholder removable? I had to rewire and built a new plate for my Nitrous switches on my 00 ACR because the switchbox mounted to the side of the console and interfered with my right leg movement. Yours OK?

i made that same mod a couple of yrs ago,

yours is installed nice and straight

i customized mine to be removable and stow-able under the passenger seat when not needed, it took some time to figure the whole thing out, but i'm a wrencher at heart

So you are saying everyone should only race the car and not drive it for any other purpose? A corvette ZR1 should not be used at the track because it comes with cup holders?

Personnally, I llike having a place to put a drink when you're on the road for many hours. Sometimes, having the caffiene an arm's reach away comes in handy. Doesn't mean I want a holder there ALL the time, but I think that cup holder is a temporary 'slide in' between the seat and the console.

I use the mesh pocket just to the right of the driver's shoulder. A Diet Pepsi bottle with a screw top fits perfectly there.

Obviously you don't recognize sarcasm very well, nor have ever taken a long drive in your car (if you even own one) and had to balance a drink between your legs. A simple $5 purchase that also holds my cell phone when charging - not a bad deal! Tell you what, man up and join the VCA and I'll race you any day.

I got one for my 94 as soon as i found it. It works good there,but when i got it for my GTS,it doesn't fit to well. Still a handy upgrade for comfort while driving .

My cupholder is much much nicer than yours. It is called my wife, she also does laundry and cooks dinner on occasions. She is also hot. Sorry, not posting any pics of my cupholder.
