V5, It would probably be good to run at least one weekend with the the Corsa's. If your feeling good about car and your skill level, then move on to the R6s. If you run the Corsa's hard you will soon find their limits. Most important - be SAFE! this car is very strong and it's a MUST to find it's limits in all situations before pushing to hard. Best of luck, Allan

Corsas and Sidewinders are mounted, ready to hit the track. Agreed on being safe. I will take the Viper step by step. Friday won't come soon enough!

Your Boss just called and said he wanted to see you on Friday to discuss that big Promo ! Haha ! Enjoy your day to the fullest !

BTW, I got the clear bra installed today with Expel Ultra Ultimate on front bumper, 1/3 hood, lights, mirrors, rocker panels and behind rear wheels. Got to protect the beauty of the Beast.
Also got the windows tinted 50% sides and 20% rear, they did a really nice job.

Nice! Here's one tidbit that will surprise you- rocks come through the front wheel housing vents and can damage the door paint. So also make sure that you have Xpel put on the doors. I think kristopherbush had that happen to him, if I am remembering correctly. Maurice Liang was also showing me that happened to him on his Gen IV. The other bonus is that if someone opens their car door into yours, the clear wrap will likely prevent paint damage. It may still ding the aluminum, but a good paintless dent remover could fix it provided the paint is still pristine.

Oh, and I told my boss he'll have to wait until Monday. I'm playing hard to get, LOL.

By the way Claude, I think I steered you wrong on rocks being able to come through the front wheel housing vents. I took a hard look at mine and can't for the life of me see how that would happen. In any case, Xpel on the doors is smart to protect from door dings.

Yes, I took a look and figured the same. I'll leave it as is for now.
I'm considering getting an extra set of street wheels and tires, to keep the Track pack wheels with Corsas for track days, to be replaced by PSC when Corsas are shot.
Wheel choice : Sidewinder 2 = light weight, OEM look, cheaper pricing or some custom built Forgeline wheels at more than double the price.
Tire choice : Mich PS2 with 3 choices of fronts in 295-30-18 / 295-35-18 or 315-30-18 rears at 345-30-19, best performance
or the Mich PSS at 285-35-18 fronts only and 345-30-19 rears, priced cheaper, last longer .

There's nowhere better to be than on a roadcourse! It can be very addicting.

Great write-up:)
