First Drag strip outing this year and some new personal best

[Nixon's SRT]

Went to the strip today, set a new personal best on PS2 and Hoosier A6's. Should have some videos that were taken. Track was packed but was able to get 5 runs in. Looking forward to getting back there, times were getting faster with each run.

Mods - Mopar ECU, Random Tech Cats, Corsa Track exhaust, K&N intake, and 3.55 rear. I just have to work on my launch, I always seem to bog it down on the launch, i got better as the day went on.

no idea on the HP, never had it on a dyno.

Oh ya it has over 72,000 miles on it also

Are these all the runs you made? Did you get any faster than the 123.98 mph?

Well the engine was rebuilt completely by arrow racing 50k ago. That was my highest trap of the day. I think ive only seen low 124 one time, mostly i trap between 119-122

Mine is a arrow rebuild as well....

You should go post over on drag times...Theirs only like 1 srt10 over theiur that has hit the 124 mph number..And i think one GTS...

cant wait till you add a few more mods...What track was this btw

2. How do you like the A6's for drag tires?
3. Did you drive to the strip with your A6's already on or did you bolt them on there / how are they on the street?
4. I need to get a set of rear tires for the strip do you recommend them?
5. What psi are you running them at?

1. No line lock, just my left foot
2. alot better than street tires, first time on the track with them, took care of the wheel hop between gears, now its just learning the limits of them on the launch.
3. put them on at the track. I made 2 runs on my PS2 and then put the A6's on
4. I use these tires for both autocross and drag racing. There maybe a better tire for just drag racing.
5. ran them at 19psi
