Just had the Corsa track system installed this week.....deleted the secondarys and WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE. This thing sounds pretty mean. Wanted to also thank Bobby Loder for all his help with the install...it was perfect when I picked it up. Sounds a lot like my '94 used to with the Belanger system. I couldn't believe the huge difference in flow......she blows dust all over everyone elses car in my parking garage when i start it :headbang: . I also did the K&N snorkel from JonB......thanks Jon for your speedy service. The car was definitly starving for air once the exhaust was installed....highly recommend the intake with the exhaust. I really haven't seen much of a gain from installing headers....I'm thinking of waiting to do those until somebody makes a system that has a 2.5 collector to flow directly into the track system.....seems like everything is 3" now....any suggestions? Also, any other mods that guys suggest.....gears? Anyway, the car sounds bad A##...the way it should and notice a huge difference in power.

Nice to hear that your Viper sounds as mean as it should. You may wish to put in a 3.55 gearset as it sure wakes the car right up. Plenty of headroom too should you later decide to get blown.

I installed the 3.55s and then went back to 3.07s... I decided that I was going to road race it at the track a lot more and if you plan to do that you should stick with the 3.07 and install a Quaife instead. If you don't plan to road race then the 3.55 are fun to zip around town in.

Is K&N the only available intake for the Srt? I tryed to do a search. If someone can help, where I can get the best deal on a K&N, or other systems? Thanks in advance.

The following link is the only intake I have found.

Are there a couple for the SRT that K&N makes. I also tried calling a couple of auto stores, and the part number K&N's site has does not come up on their computers. Thanks fellas.

Also a link to the $470.00 price tag. Is this average?

nazology-

You can also buy a cheaper version of the K&N in the form of a snakeoyl plastic intake piece and two HUGE green filters....in the end it ends up to be about $20 difference between that and K&N...I think I paid approx $300 from JonB and had it on my front door in three days.....if you go with the K&N be prepared.......the sensor is a major bi%$$ to take off.....I broke the fu*#I^E thing in the process....of course...I have ZERO patience....but I've heard others struggle with it as well. Good Luck.

Mav of course if you're running 18's for road racing then the 3.07's are nearly equivalent to 3.55's with the 19" tire diameter stockers ... just that should be pointed out.
