Big time congrads on getting the car.

I've enjoyed following your posts about chasing "The Dream" as I am halfway through engineering school and am chasing that very same Dream myself.......

.......mine just happens to be steel gray with silver stripes.

Your passengers comments are priceless... In 3'rd, we hear "nice", after shifting into 4'th, we hear "nice", after winding out 4'th, we hear "OK, that fine", in a tone that says PLEASE STOP! You'll find that the co-pilot side of the Viper gives you a whole different perspective on the exact same pull through the gears. Since, on that side, you are in no control of the right foot, all you feel is the torque, and it seems to never stop. This in turn will make you say, "OK,that fine". I've done it myself at around 155MPH. Yet driving, I've been over 160, and felt fine. Enjoy!!

Congrats on the car. I'm sure we will be meeting at some event or at Zen's.

Pretty cool huh. Im happy for ya. I want to check out some of the install at Paolos, so give me a call when its underway. Ive been trying hard not to send my car to Heffner or Underground, as I would like to do some of the work myself, but I like the idea of a turn key proposition. Anyway I want to see what all is involved so keep me in mind during the install.

Viper sounds great.

By the way, no need to turn off the air conditioner before full throttle runs. The air turns itself automatically under heavy throttle.:drive:

after this vid, i started running into clutch problems, lol. The car would not get into third gear after I adjusted the pedals... I ran a 12.0@119 granny shifting the hell out of it with a 1.96 60'. The next pass I went 1.84 60' but it wouldnt go into third gear. It would have EASILY gone well into the 11's and if I could shift like in the vid, it would have gone low 120's but it didnt... thats life! Ill take 12.0@119 for a stock viper with just smoothtubes and no cats (everything else is stock including the clutch, shifter, headers, catback, etc. Oh yeah, and it was on stock tires too, NOT bfg dr's like I origionally planned
