You might want to contact Marv S. about this flame out the exhaust pipe thing. He has a couple of old spark plugs from his lawnmower screwed into his Viper tailpipes and likes to "light" them while letting off the gas at high speed.....the kids at the local high school just love it. Heh heh. Gotcha, Marv.

I have found a professional photographer brave enough to try and capture some of my flames on film, we have a shooting date for next month. The best ones are the ones that are big enough for me to see in my side mirrors!

(I have heard that the goverment are trying to catch me, they are hoping I may be able to help out with the cremation of the foot and mouth problem in the UK).

You need: no cats, running at temp, full gas / high RPM, then come sudden off the gas (don't try it first in anything but a straight line!)...I wouldn't encourage this sort of driving style either. The flames sound like a shotgun going off, not neighbor friendly!

If it's on the downshifts, it's a strait through exhaust system running to rich, it's ignighting as it leaves. My TA did it because the heavily enriched mixture of the blower. Not cool when you have burn marks/carbon on your rear fasica

If you wanted a car to shoot flames at a stand still (like a crowd pleaser at a show) then there are kits out there that are nothing more than modified spark plugs and ignition cutout switches....basicly dumps raw gas into the pipes and sparks them. Kinda cool... modified street cruisers (old chevies, mercs) do this alot around here.

And actually, it was my '49 merc that had the spark plugs for the flame thrower trick ... using a 6volt model "t" coil pak to spark it. kids........

But if you want FLAMES of your own you can buy the kit........
