I believe they stopped making the covers after '98 to cut production costs. Besides being more aerodynamic IMO, the covers have saved me from having to buy new fog lamps from stone hits without cracking the lexan covers due to their angled body contour shape versus the flat fog light glass. Also, off the top of my head I can't think of another car that has/had fog light covers. Another unique Viper feature gone!
