I'm not crazy about the SRT-10 design, but over on the Gen III forum someone Photoshopped the black VCA Special Edition wheels onto a White Mamba, and, well, just look for yourselves :2tu:

First SRT I've seen that I'd want in my garage

I have never been fond of black wheels

Me neither, until now

Two firsts for me: an SRT that looks good enough to own and a set of black wheels that actually compliment the car instead of detracting from it.

The Columbus V10 Nats had a white mamba with black powder coated wheels, very attractive combination. I forget if he ran or not but it was in the pits on Saturday.

PS:Get rid of the red brake calipers too.Flat black please. That is unless you are the type that thinks neon under the car and signal orange rear end pumpkins are cool. Bruce

No improvement. Maybe if it had a clamshell-curved hood with similar curved side vents. Possibly a more tear-dropped shaped set of tail-lights. The side exhaust and brakes are fine, but you have to get a full function rollbar/rear window.

That would be improving the looks some.....

I do like the SRT, but the photo shop pic I don't like. The rear is too long and I don't like the black powder coat wheels.......makes them look dirty.
When I saw the DLM SRT I took a liking to the car. And a supercharger to boot :D . The stock one needed some aggressive curves and not the stream lines it already has :usa:
Cheers,
Chuck

This is coming from the president of the Junior Viper Lovers Club of Canada. Craig is the oldest member ... someday he'll actually own a fast car, (plastic models/diecast not included ;) ). Until then, he is content in being a lame Viper groupie/leg humper and trash talker from afar. :2tu:

There was a silver Gen2 RT/10 with black SRT-10 wheels there too. I wanted to talk to him about something but he left about noon. It was an OH car...
