"Best" and "priced Low" do not often collide in the same sentance.

What kind of power are you looking to make with the car ULTIMATELY? Rods and Pistons are something that you should bite the bullet on very early in your builds, as the cost difference between "1000 HP" and "2000 HP" will easily be eaten up (and then some) by rebuilding costs to do it twice. However, if you can honestly say that "1000 is enough, forever" then yes, you have a little more wiggle room on your choices.

I advise CP Pistons in any build, their quality is second to none, and they arent all that more expensive than the others. For rods, my BIG builds get Carrillo, and smaller builds get Oliver.

If you would like a quote, let me know. I do not have "off the shelf" setups, everything I do is custom for the application. There is quite a bit of efficiency that can be gained by a good bottom end, off the shelf stuff just cant do it...

PM me with your engine specs if you want a quote, or what you plan on doing to the engine during the rebuild.

Just to give you an idea of cost, a NICE set of custom rods and pistons will range from 3500-7000, all depends on make, options, coatings, etc.
