"Best" and "priced Low" do not often collide in the same sentance.
What kind of power are you looking to make with the car ULTIMATELY? Rods and Pistons are something that you should bite the bullet on very early in your builds, as the cost difference between "1000 HP" and "2000 HP" will easily be eaten up (and then some) by rebuilding costs to do it twice. However, if you can honestly say that "1000 is enough, forever" then yes, you have a little more wiggle room on your choices.
I advise CP Pistons in any build, their quality is second to none, and they arent all that more expensive than the others. For rods, my BIG builds get Carrillo, and smaller builds get Oliver.
