[h=2]Formal Introduction[/h]
Many of you know me here from the Forums, some of you do not. An E-Mail was recently sent out to
the members of the VA/MD region by John Mavridis to introduce me as the new Va/MD Vice President.
Many of you that are not paid members or outside this region would not have received this E-Mail.
I have copied it here for everyone.
Here is the E-Mail:
Last weekend was the annual meeting at Romilo's in Severna Park. During that
meeting elections were held for Vice President and I am pleased to now
introduce myself as your new VA/MD Region Vice President.
A little about myself. I purchased my first Viper in the late nineties from
Mike, another member in our club. Mike was very kind to both me and my wife
and was very helpful in the process of purchasing his car. As well as making
me feel good about the car he made us both feel very good about Viper
owners, and the club. I immediately joined the VCA and started attending
events with my car. As time went on, my wife and I were made feel very
welcome. This is the same feeling I would like to pass on to other owners as
I meet them, helping them join our club as well.
I currently own two Vipers: A 2001 Red GTS, and a 2003 Silver SRT-10.
These are my fourth and fifth Vipers. In addition to these I have owned
(2) 1994 RT/10's, and a 1996 B/W GTS. I guess the Viper fever hit me from
the first I saw it at the Philadelphia auto show and I have been bitten ever
since.
As your new Vice president I am available for anything the membership needs,
please feel free to contact me and let me know of any way I can help. I plan
to attend many of the club functions as well as plan some new events. If any
of you have ideas that would make the club better, please let me know. If
there is someone or some place that you think should be contacted for an
event, or if you need help or idea for organizing an event in your area I
would be glad to make that contact for you.
I already have met many of you, I look forward to meeting everyone. If you
see me at an event and we have not met please introduce yourself, If I
introduce myself, and we have already met, forgive me. This is brand new for
me so please if these is anything I can do just let me know.

I am sure that there are some of you that are reading this that have not been members in the past,
and have not had any events in the Delaware area. I would like to help bring change to that. If there is an event you would like to see other Viper owners participate in, or if you have an idea for an event and would like for me to make the call to contact someone please contact me with the information. I would be glad to help organize events for you. Just ask.
Thanks again,
Steve
