Anyone going to the Mecum auction in Dallas this weekend? Some really neat Vipers look to be going on the block at no reserve. I would love to be able to buy that GTS-R. That has been a dream car for me for a long time.

I've heard a few stories about why the owner was getting out, but nothing confirmed yet. So not sure if it was health or financial, but either way I wish the owner well. Today I heard today that Mecum bought all the cars from him outright and owns them now. If that is the case, do you think there will be any "shill" bidding by Mecum? Any guess on what they will bring?

The Blue & White hammered at $84,700 with buyers fee.

The 98 GTS-R only brought $95,700 after the fee.

The 95 Yellow RT/10 $46,200 after fee.

And the Black 2000 ACR came in at $85,800 with fee.
