It only rains ONCE A YEAR in Pac-NW. Honest! ONCE:
[ November 1 thru May 15 ]
You wanna talk RAIN ?!? (I live at 1000' in Cascade Range.)
-I had 132" in yr 2000.
-On-target for 140" in 2001.
-3" of rain in past 24 hours.
-Rain each day for past 39 days.
You cannot converse on my deck. You must YELL! Washougal River whitewater, 30' below, is RAGING like a 747 on takeoff power.
Usually, it is 40' below...rose TEN FEET this week. Ten FEET!
And still ~~90K miles on 3 Vipers since '93.

What's the problem with driving in the rain? It rained when I picked up my 2000 steel grey RT/10 from the factory and I drove it 700 miles that day. That's why they put rain grooves on the tires.

The rain is killing us here in Houston also. So we just work on the car some more.

Usually, we do have "bad" weather starting in November until March - 5 very loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong months ... I will kill some of the time by visiting CAAP in January.
