GA VCA Children\'s Hospital Event. Please reply ASAP!
I have been in contact with Egleston's Children Hospital in Atlanta about doing a special event for children who will be spending Christmas in the hospital. We plan on taking them Christmas gifts and allowing them to sit in the cars and have pictures made with the cars. Due to hospital regulations,
the kids will not be allowed to go on any joyrides in the car
. The date we are planning this is December 17, 2006 at 3:30pm. This is the day after the Christmas party at Andretti's Speed Lab. With all the Viper racing events in December, this seemed to be the only weekend we could schedule it for and hope for a good turnout. I know we usually don't do events on back-to-back days, but it would really be nice if we could have a big showing and put smiles on all the kid's faces. I personally plan on bringing many Viper model cars to giveaway along with some other gifts. I need to know ASAP how many plan on attending this event so I can get back in touch with the hospital and let them know. I should then be able to get an idea of how many kids will be attending so we can know how many gifts to try to bring. Being Viper owners
we're already blessed with a lot that other people dream of and this is a good way to share some of our "Viper joy" with kids who are sick/disabled and will be spending Christmas in a hospital.
