I see alot of post about garage floors lately so I thought I would put in my $0.02
worth. For what its worth I own a building company of high end custom homes so
I thought I would show you my choice and why. NO FLOOR IS PERFECT TO START WITH.
I finally decided that LOOKS were most important to me, however it did need to be
functional. The VCT does need to be waxed and to keep it looking good you should
clean the floor once a month. I did my 3 car garage first to see how I liked it
and now I'm going to do the 2 1/2 garage on my main house for the wife :D .
She wants some soft colors and gongoaleam has lots of choices to pick from. Solid
colors are more expensive then regular tiles, I'll try to show you what I mean
from the pics.

HERE ARE SIX SOLID COLORS

I still plan on doing the HVAC, insulation and fireplace. I have about 1100 sq. ft.
above that i plan on finishing into a mans room (lol), putting in bar, fp, poker
table, 42" flat panel hd lcd tv's and bathroom. The 3 car garage itself I still
want it to be a garage and not a finished room ( if you know what I mean ). I
want it to look good but still be a functional garage. :D

HOPE THIS HELPS ALL WHO ARE LOOKING TO DO THEIR GARAGE. GOOD LUCK AND BE CREATIVE. :2tu:

Thanks for the input. I assume these tiles are self adhesive, or do you need to use some type of glue to secure them? Also, are these tiles pliable or very hard? Thanks again.

Tom, I noticed earlier in your post you were offering this flooring for $0.02/square foot. Hook me up at that price. :nana:

You need adheasive, the tiles are not self stick. The tiles are hard.

Sweet.

What name brand and style is the tile? Can you get it from Lowes or home Depot, or only a commercial flooring store?

Two hammers, you are indeed a fortunate and wealthy man.

LMAO that was funny :2tu:

In keeping with board tradition, you shall now be known as THT (Two Hammer Tom)
Not quite the rarified status of say, Chuck, but none the less worthy of note.

Awesome garage man. love it!

Love the little honda xr bikes ive had several older ones that look just like that!

If you ever want to upgrade those things, i have a whole buncha newer crf honda bikes in my hallway and garage i need to get rid of, and they would set off that garage much nicer then those old things you go in there now ;)
